CareCredit® is similar to other credit
cards, but it has the unique feature of offering interest
free financing for six months to qualified clients.
This is the only
payment plan available at The Cat Clinic.
When is it a good choice?
When your kitty needs care and cash,
check, or major credit cards are not available options.
How do you apply?
Apply online at
the CareCredit® website.
Or
Call
1-800-365-8295
If you are concerned that you may not
qualify for CareCredit® you may ask a friend or relative to
apply with you.
What happens at the
clinic?
Once you are approved, print the
approval page and bring two forms of identification
(generally a driver’s license and a credit card) to the
clinic.
If you
have received your CareCredit ®Card you may use it for
needed care up to the level of available credit.
At the clinic you
will be provided with the needed treatment plan and an
estimate of the costs involved.
Your deposit for the
needed care can then be placed on your CareCredit® account
and when treatment is concluded the remainder of the charges
will be charged to your CareCredit® account.
If you arrive at the clinic and then learn that you will
need a payment plan to provide care for your cat, you can
call CareCredit ®(1-800-365-8295) from your cell phone while
you are in the clinic and receive approval in just a few
minutes. You must be at least 21 years of age to apply by
phone and have two forms of identification.
How are payments made to
CareCredit®?
To participate in the no interest
payment plan you
must
make the required minimum monthly
payments and you must
pay the entire balance in full by the due date.
Making only the minimum monthly payments may not pay
off the balance by the due date. The deferred interest
charges will be visible on your monthly statement, and will
be incurred if the balance is not paid in full by the due
date or when the minimal monthly payments not made.
If
the card holder does not make payments as required, finance
charges may be assessed on the entire amount from the date
of purchase.
These
charges can be substantial, and we strongly
urge you to make the payments appropriately.
